Our Vision

Devoted to Saving Dogs

Lucy’s Trust was set up in remembrance of the best dog in Ireland, who came to me as a little stray and changed my life forever. In her name, we aim to save as many dogs as possible from needless euthanasia in Northern Ireland, by providing interim care and re homing directly.

We undertake to help the dogs in greatest need of rescue space, currently mainly lurchers, Greyhounds, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and behavioural cases. (we also take chronically ill dogs and the old). Basically we are the LAST chance for a lot of dogs.

We reserve the right to turn down any prospective home, our procedures are in place to ensure the most committed homes, and the RIGHT homes for our dogs. These little souls have been through the mill, and to the best of our ability, we need to ensure they do not have to end up back in kennels. That said we will always take our dogs back if things don't work out.
